![]() ![]() There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does. ![]() Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using the Brave browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse, then send that data back to a third party, essentially spying on your browsing habits. We strongly recommend you stop using this browser until this problem is corrected. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: Contra has some parts which are just a pain in the ass with two people! Super C doesn’t seem to have those moments.īoth games are fantastic, and if you are a fan of Contra, and haven’t played Super C, you’d better go play it right now, before I tie you to a chair and FORCE you to play it! (Seriously, go play it, you’ll love it if you loved Contra!).Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. I will say though, I feel like Super C was better designed for two people. I’ve beaten both games without dying before. ![]() I feel like Super C is slightly harder than Contra, but I think they’re pretty similar for the most part in that regard. Overall, I think Super C just has a darker tone, and that seems to be what they were trying to do with it. Contra generally has brighter colours, and Super C has a considerably darker look to it. Super C’s music is more laid back, and overall gives a darker feel to the game, as do the graphics in the game. The music also has a considerably different atmosphere Contra’s soundtrack really stands out and is sort of in your face at times, and even in the more darker tracks, I feel most of Contra’s soundtrack is pretty funky and upbeat. Overall, I feel like the main difference in style between Contra and Super C is that Contra was based around obstacle courses, while Super C was more about fighting enemies and destroying enemy artillery. They feel more like actual levels.Ĭontra was mostly comprised of stages moving to the right, and the exception to this was Waterfall, but Super C has two stages going upward, and even one going down! Remember how useless it was in Contra? Now… it’s arguably better than the SPREAD GUN! It now moves so fast across the screen, and it does so much damage! Plus, you can charge it up by holding down the button, and it does about 4 times the normal damage it does! Deciding which one is better just depends on whether you want to be offensive or defensive!Īnother notable difference is that instead of having 3D base obstacle course style stages, Super C replaces these stages with overhead stages, which I actually prefer. The fire weapon is completely different in this game. There’s a significant speed increase in how fast your bullets move across the screen, though, especially with the spread gun! You have the same weapons from the original game. The game has 8 stages, just like Contra, and the gameplay is very similar. ![]() Super C is the not as well known sequel to the legendary Contra on the NES! The gameplay is very similar to Contra, and it’s just as much fun to play! It’s a shame that so many people have missed out on this amazing title, because it’s at LEAST just as good as Contra! ![]()
